Calgary Board of Education

About Our School
Centennial High School was built by the Calgary Board of Education and opened for the 2004-2005 school year.

The teachers at Centennial High School assist students in developing as learners, individuals and citizens. As well as the instruction and learning supports provided through classes, staff and students also develop further learning opportunities through 'YOTES (Your Opportunities To Enhance Success) time.

YOTES time, held each Friday mid-morning, is simple and yet so important: for students and teachers to have a positive meaningful relationship that supports, promotes and enhances student successes as they transition into high school in grade X, making the most of high school in grade XI and making a successful transition to life beyond high school in grade XII. Positive. Successes. Relationships. Opportunities. These are simple powerful meaningful life changing words. Personal Involvement is the key.
