The Supply Chain Management pathway involves studying the management of people, products and mechanisms between the two, right from the producer to the consumer. Supply chain is foundational to business. This pathway is ideal for students who are interested in understanding, managing and problem-solving related to business practices in order to strategically manage the flow of goods, services, finances and knowledge. Supply chain is one of the fastest growing industries locally, nationally and internationally.
Students will investigate topics in business, logistics, transportation, distribution, purchasing, inventory and project management. When possible, learners will engage project-based learning. Potential work study and work experience opportunities may be explored, supporting students in earning additional high school credits.
