resource support

  • Learning Plan Workshop and Resource list
  • special classes, workshops and activities hosted at CBE facilities including used curriculum fairs
  • resources purchased with supplemental funding
  • D2L support
  • Learning Commons
  • students can create/send/receive electronic data in the form of text, audiovisual materials, graphics, multimedia clips, presentations, photos, visual art and video
  • online Live Room assistance
  • online learning strategies assistance
  • CBe-learn junior high resources and program access

program support

  • parents may choose the type of assessment:
    • provincial Achievement Test
    • Canadian Test of Basic Skills
    • alternative Assessment for Traditional programming portions.
  • individuaized program planning
  • flexible scheduling
  • career counseling services (Grades 7-9)
  • guidance counselor

The CBE assumes the responsibility to assess the student enrolled in the Alberta Programs of Study portion of the blended program.

facilitator/teacher support

  • face-to-face assistance with facilitators
  • minimum two facilitator visits as per Alberta Government Education Regulations
  • access to facilitator for planned learning events

parent support

  • school council | guidance and leadership
